Activity Time

As I went to various classes this afternoon there were a variety of activities going on; from Mrs. Klan's class painting, Mrs. Kopeck's class doing marvelous things with their sand and Ms. Taylor and Mrs. Sullivan's class working together at a variety of centers.  The energy was great-- it may have something to do with the awesome weather.

I have included a picture of our Games Crew Bulletin Board as well. The Games Crew has been doing training this week so they can work more effectively with our primary students.  It is a wonderful leadership opportunity that is provided by Mrs. Servos-Sept. Bravo!

Enjoy the sunshine today.

Until tomorrow.

Symmetrical Patterns

Division 5 students wanted to show me their symmetrical patterns-- the assignment required them to have two lines of symmetry.

I have added more pictures from today on the Flickr Photostream. Enjoy!

Have a good afternoon and enjoy the sunshine.

Until tomorrow.

Egypt Art (Mr. Detwiller's Class)

There is some fantastic art, about Egypt,  on the bulletin board outside Mr. D's classroom. If you are at school you may want to check it out.

Writing About Animals & Reading About a Dragon

Ms. Moul's students shared their writing, about animals, with me when I stopped by their class today.  When I went to the library Ms. Kranenburg was reading a story about a dragon to Ms. Taylor's class.

There are some really good things going on here at GES!  Take time to ask you child about some of the activities that they did today.

Until later.
