Totems
I have posted a few pictures of Ms. Kranenburg's totem poles, which were made today. They look fantastic.
If you stop by the school Monday or Tuesday have a look for yourself.
Have a great weekend!
Enjoy the sunshine.

Farewell Assembly
We had a farewell assembly, for our three retiring teachers, today. The morning assembly went really well and the send off was great!
Thanks to everyone who attended. Miss Owen, Mrs. Hoechstetter and Mrs. Griffiths have given of themselves for so many, for many years. It is time for them to relax, smell the roses, write a book or two, do some gardening and ride into the sunset.
May the next chapter of their lives be filled with laughter and joy.

Division 2 Garden
Mrs. Topping and student gardener, Sabrina, finished the garden outside of the Division 2 class. The plants look great and they left a few areas for students to stand during in-climate weather. Thank you for the great job on making GES a better place.
I was busy working with students on the NWEA today. The assessment is pretty well done. The students have done an excellent job overall with several students scoring above the 90th percentile-- that means that they are in the top 10% of all students in their grade that have written the assessment.
It is nice to see the sun shining again. Unfortunately I can't enjoy the good weather, as I have a Community School Meeting shortly.
Just a reminder, we will be have a farewell assembly for our three retiring teachers (Audrey Owen, Linda Hoechstetter & Jane Griffiths) tomorrow at 9:15 am -- parents are welcome to attend.
Until tomorrow.
Mr. H
