Structures using Recycled Material

When I visited Mrs. Fitchell's class this morning she shared with me the structures that her students had made from recycled material. They did a great job. I have included more photos of their structures in the Flickr Photostream. For your information their class did the projects as part of a combined Science & Social Responsibility assignment. If your child is in this class have a look at the pictures-- enjoy!

Green Troopers Lead Assembly

Mrs. Hoechstetter, along with grade seven students Megan, Sophie and Kailyn, had a Green Trooper Assembly today. They have been encouraging our entire school population to reduce, reuse and recycle. They have challenged students to bring lunches with no garbage and will continue to provide leadership to our school and encourage us to all be more environmentally sensitive.
