Ms. Moul's Class
March came in like a lion.....as you can see from the bulletin board art outside Ms. Moul's classroom. Inside the classroom students were getting organized for Parent/Teacher interviews, which will be next week.
Thanks Ms. Dixon
Ms. Dixon has been student teaching in Mr. Sullivan's class the past two month and she has done a great job. We appreciate everything that you have brought to GES and we thank you!
Good luck in the future.

Grade 4/5 Basketball Successful Game at Davis Bay
We had our first away game for the Grade 4/5 team at Davis Bay today. The game was well played with our boys finishing on top with a 26-20 victory. We had sixteen boys playing today, with three others that didn't travel because they didn't have their permission slips in. The Grade 4/5 boys are done until after the Spring Break. They will be participating in the "C" flight of the District Basketball Tournament at GES, April 1st.
Have a good evening.
Until tomorrow.

Girls' Basketball Team Successful vs Cedar Grove
The girls were playing very well when I stopped by the gym after school today. Great job girls. Thanks to Evan and Jack for keeping score.
Tropical Learning Party
Ms. Taylor and Ms. Lawson hosted a Tropical Learning Party this afternoon. The students were really engaged in their learning and they were having a lot of fun as well!
Neighbourhood Learning Centre Meeting
As part of the new Gibsons Elementary School rebuild plan we had a Neighbourhood Learning Centre Meeting last evening. John Talbot and Deborah Palmer facilitated the meeting. After this phase is complete, hopefully by the end of May, the Ministry of Education should be giving us the green light to proceed to the next phase-- hiring an architect and developing a building plan. There will be exciting times ahead of us!

Weather Improving
The weather was great today. The blue sky and sunshine are a sign that spring is just around the corner.
Rat Tail Tag
I stopped by Ms. Moul's PE class this morning and the students were excited about playing Rat Tail Tag. For your information the Cats are in yellow. The students really seemed to enjoy the activity.
