Festive Friday Apparel Day

Today is Festive Friday Apparel Day at GES.... some of the staff and students took the opportunity to dress with a festive spirit! Bravo to all!!

Primary Christmas Concert a Big Success

Our Primary Christmas Concert last night went really well and all of our students did an awesome job.  I have included a few pictures here, but more can be viewed on the Flickr Photostream to the right. A video of the Primary Choir's song, Christmas in Colour, will be included at a later date.

Primary Christmas Concert Tonight

We have our annual Primary Christmas Concert Tonight at 7:00 pm. 

I will be at a District Meeting at the School Board Office during the day.  Thanks to Mr. Sullivan for covering for me during the day.  I will be back at GES at the end of the day.

Curling 101

Ms. Duncan's class went to the Gibson's Curling Club this afternoon and were introduced to the sport.  All reports are they everyone enjoyed the activity. More pictures can be seen on the Flickr Photostream to the right.

Getting Ready for Christmas Concerts

With only two weeks before our Christmas Break there are lot of festive things happening around the school.  The gym is closed except for practices for the Primary and Intermediate Christmas Concerts and the classroom doors are decorated for the season.

Mrs. Duncan's class is on a field trip to the Gibson's Curling Club today.  It should be good fun.

The Primary Christmas Concert Dress Rehearsal is tomorrow at 10:45  am.  If there are parents/grandparents that are unable to attend on Wednesday evening we welcome you to attend tomorrow's dress rehearsal.
