Ministry Approves GES Replacement

The Ministry of Education has agreed that the replacement for GES should proceed as a replacement school on the existing site. The Ministry will support a two Kindergarten room/300 capacity elementary school that can also contain up to 15% additional space to accommodate a Neighbourhood Learning Centre (NLC) if the Board wishes to include this space.

We will be working with partners to develop a Project Definition Report (PDR) in the next few months for presentation to the Ministry prior to the development of a Project Agreement.

Our teachers and PAC will have representatives on the committee.  We are excited about this process and look forward to the future with optimism.

Running Club

Mr. Sullivan and Ms. Dixon work with the Running Club a couple mornings a week. They were working through a curcuit when I stopped by the gym this morning.  If any students are interested in the Running Club, which is a great warmup for the Track season, see Mr. Sullivan.
