Teaching in Mrs. Hourigan's Class

Sideline European Handball.

Tangrams-- the students really enjoyed this activity.

Most of the students working away.

Hi level of activity in ther gym.
I taught in Mrs. Hourigan's class today so she could coach the GES Girls' Volleyball Team.  For PE we included Mrs. Fitchell's Grade 6 students-- we had an excellent game of sideline European Handball.

It has been a busy day, as when I am not in class teaching I am supervising.

Today is the last day of the Receipt Race.....I wonder if Mr. Sullivan's class will make a comeback?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Until next week.

It has been a busy day with a morning meeting, teaching Mrs. Murray's Math group, as well as supervising at recess and lunch.  I really enjoyed getting into the classrooms to see what was happening.  If you check the other staff blogs there will be other examples of some of things that go on at GES.

Congratulations Boys' Volleyball Team

Mr. Detwiller returned to school yesterday and informed me that our boys made it to the finals and lost to Roberts Creek in the final.
